Amazing-ness

Yes. Yes. Y-E-S.

(the cast of VH1's Tough Love- a show my friends and I enjoy together every Sunday night)

I know that VH1 is not exactly known for its classy television, but I can't help but adore the tough lovin' on Tough Love. And while momentarily, I felt empty and lost without Tool Academy, I was rewarded with this sparkling gem of a program. It provides education, entertainment, and insight into the minds of these crazy bitches. I would tell everyone to check it out, but you'd be really far behind and not be able to truly appreciate all that is Taylor (bottom row, far left).
And how can you not just love Steve? Can he come to my house and help me?

It's Miller Time

My #1 P:

Buttered, salted, fresh or bagged, with cheddar or caramel, cooked in a kettle or cooked in a microwave - life's truth lies within a tiny kernel just waiting to be popped.

My love of popcorn runs deep. Prepare it any way you'd like - I'll take it (actually I'll probably rip it from your arms and run away to keep it all for myself.)

Just a couple of dreams I dream.

Popcorn: a perfect, undeniably magical example of the letter P at work.

Get it poppin'.

Best,
Paige

Tools of the Devil

Sonic is a very beautiful thing, but it is also a tool of the devil.

This always happens to me.  Why is it that every time I go to Sonic I want everything? Mozzarella sticks (a definite must), breakfast burritos (muy delicioso), corn dogs, burgers, tots, tots with CHEESE!  The possibilities are endless.

And it's even worse with the drinks.  How do you stop yourself from ordering the whole menu now that they've introduced Happy Hour? Well, I already have a Coke and a strawberry slush,  but those limeades look tasty.  Kill me.

Fierce Bitch of the Moment

It's not a secret that Europeans embody a lot more fierceness than us lowly Americans.  This fierce Parisian is all the evidence you need.  I have no idea who this fabulous lady is, but she is clearly quite amazing (umm, hello shoulder pads?).  Fierce.

A Message to the World

I'm still sore over this weeks later.

Girl at Murphy's Law who was looking about one drink away from eating it in the middle of the bar, looking like a fool doing some sort of strange elbow dance, who hit me in the head and didn't apologize.....

you know who you are.

Presenting past "P" products...

"P's" from the past deserve some props. These two items are especially dear to my heart, and I'm guessing you'll remember them fondly as well.

Our precious Polly Pocket of yesteryear. Choking hazard? Perhaps. But we looked danger square in the eyes and soldiered on. Nothing could come between us and our Polly Pocket. Ahh, the memories.

Many, many hours were spent with these pint-sized pooches. Perfectly normal to us then, but particularly disturbing now, were the even smaller puppies hidden inside this Pound Puppy's Velcro uterus conveniently located on her belly. Still, I miss these little guys - are they still around?

Just two more reasons to celebrate "P".

Good day,
Paige "pmills" Miller

Is there anything better than this?

I think not.

Remember This?

Littlest Pet Shop Zoo!
Did anyone else have these things? I definitely had the whole zoo set up with the baby lion and the monkey and his little banana bucket and the big purple gates that were the entrance to the zoo. The arctic animals were my favorite because I loved shooting the penguins down the slide and that fish had a magnet on it so the polar could catch it. This thing was just the most fun! I wish I still had it! :(

I'm Cool

This morning, we read our poems aloud in Poetry II. My teacher (Angela Merta) said that mine was "killer" and I am excited.

What I Think of When I Think of Frank Kerr

I always thought he would come back like this.
And while then I could only see a dark box,
and my father was wringing the life
from my hand,
I imagined his fishing boat and the trucker hat
from the tortilla factory in El Paso.
I imagined his smile that hid his teeth
and the fold of skin from nose to cheeks
that was just like mine
and my father's
My mother and my sister were there,
but they have pale skin
blonde hair
smooth faces.
I always thought he would echo slowly across the lake,
eager fish interrupting the deep and bellowing voice
as it traveled to my feet,
swinging and brushing the water.
It is early in the morning,
pale pink and yellow
over the water
before any else has stirred.
And it takes on a dark green
when you're inside it.
Your feet fade into colder territory.
Past a certain point, they disappear.
Maybe you feel a fish,
the faintest friction.
I know that he is all of these things-
the hum of a boat's motor,
the creaking, tolling panels of wood,
a dog still pawing a fish beneath the surface of the water.

Fierce Bitch of the Moment

400 Lb Star Jones!!!

She was much fiercer during this time. You would have to be the stupidest human on earth to mess with a bitch like her. I prob wouldn't mess with her now either because she looks soo hungry.

Remember This?

I know they're still around, but these used to be my favorite when I was little. I may have been more excited about frozen dinners than other kids, but I only got to have these when I had a babysitter. Those of you who were allowed the privilege of eating Kid Cuisine more frequently are lucky little penguins!

Chicken nuggets and chocolate pudding,

Hannah

Hah!

Matthew is apparently trying to kill me with pictures of one of my favorite babies (PUGS!), so how about THEM apples? That's baby animal love right there.

-Hannah

Haha

Is there anything cuter than a pug in a cup. I think not.

Fierce Bitch of the Moment

Betty White!

No description needed. Just know that she might be the fiercest of them all.
